Laying in savasana the other night... a thought drifted through my head...
"why live for tomorrow when every tomorrow will become another today?"
It made me remember that I need to focus on living in the present moment. Whether that moment is a happy, sad, angry, hungry, sleepy, or irritated one, it is happening and I need to really feel it. I often look forward to things in the future: Friday evening, the summer, the wedding, etc... but soon those days will become TODAY too. If we cannot be present in the present moment today, it will be just as difficult to be present on the days and in the moments that we really wish we could be. So my goal for the week is to practice living, feeling, and experiencing each minute of every day (except when I'm sleeping of course!). Wish me luck, and feel free to join me in this challenge =)
