I spend my weekends working at a dance studio. This means that my weekend wardrobe is drastically different from my weekday wardrobe. During the week I often wear dress pants, dark jeans, or a skirt. I top that with blouses, blazers, and boots. However, on the weekend real pants do not exist. I wear leggings or lululemon pants, often paired with flowy tops and sports bras. Oh, and don`t forget those leg warmers!
This weekend we got to go to a tasting event at our wedding venue. They had samples of appetizers, mains, and salads. They also had wine, punch, and tea and coffee. We were also able to see the place all decked out and see the different tables (guest table, cake table, patio tables, head table, etc). It was pretty exciting and my fiance and I are definitely more excited than ever about getting married. It is becoming more real with each passing day!
Do you ever have one of those days (or a series of days) where things just don`t seem to be going right for you... Well I seem to be in an inescapable cycle of bad luck! I have been clumsy (I knocked a glass out of my cupboard and it shattered all over my kitchen floor, stubbed my toe on the corner of my bed, and spilled the contents of my purse on a store counter), and unlucky (I put six dollars in a parking meter and received 0:00 as my allotted time, went to renew my passport and the office was `temporarily closed`for the day, and accidentally got on the wrong bus and had to walk an extra thirty minutes to the place I was trying to get to). I guess it`s days like these that make the good ones that much better! It reminds me of this quote:
"Some days are for living. Others are for getting through."
